How To Make Emapandas

How to make Empanadas:

Learn how to make beef Empanadas 
in 6 easy steps.

What you need (recipe):

* Eggs
*Tapas pie (tapas de empanadas).
*Ground meat
*Red & yellow pepper
* Green & red onions 
* Tomatoes

1/3 cup of olive oil

1 lb. boneless beef shoulder, trimmed and finely chopped.

Kosher salt, to taste

1 large red bell pepper, cored, seeded, and finely chopped

1 large yellow onion, finely chopped

12 tsp. ground white pepper, plus more to taste

2 eggs, hard-boiled, peeled, and finely chopped


Types of Empanadas:

Empanadas de carne (meat).
Empanadas de jamon y queso ( ham & cheese).
Empanadas de dulce de batata (sweet).


Where do they eat Empanadas?

In many different countries they eat empanadas such as; 

Argentina
Uruguay
Spain
Colombia
and many more!

Every country does add or remove certain ingredients to their Empanadas, so it makes it unique.

When do they eat Empanadas?

Empanadas are also made for special holidays in certain countries. Quick example in Argentina they eat it for the 25 de Mayo ( May 25th) is a special holiday over there and eating Empanadas is a tradition.

You can eat them anytime you want ;).
